Welcome to my food blog! I've been completely enthralled with cooking since I was 7 years old. My mother and I would bake cookies about once a week, something which I really enjoyed. I've been baking and cooking ever since and I've never looked back. I've brought this collection of my recipes together to share with my fellow foodies. Please feel free to send your comments, suggestions, stories, and even some recipes to share. I'm looking forward to seeing you at my table. Cheers!

A Visual: My Chickpea Salad
Here's a pic I took of my chickpea salad I made this evening. It goes great with hummus, dolmas, and falafel. It's a great side dish to pair with a turkey burger or even a spicy fish taco. Make it with your favorite dish. The recipe can be found on my blog. Enjoy!

Review: Angry Orchard Hard Cider - Crisp Apple
I went to a party for a friend's birthday yesterday afternoon into last night. With my friend Ray, we picked up a six pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon, a six pack of a raspberry IPA, and hard cider. I really liked the Crisp Apple a lot better than the Apple Ginger, but they were both good. I will definitely get this flavor again.
I give it 4-stars! * * * *

They're heeeeeeeeere!
My two cupcake cookbooks showed up in the mail yesterday! While the gluten-free book isn't vegan, there is a section at the end that gives dairy-free and egg-free alternatives for the recipes, with only a few exceptions. This gives me a lot of leeway when baking from both books. I'll also be making the gluten free versions straight from the book for friends who are able to eat dairy, eggs, and nuts. I have to get a pastry bag with tips and cupcake liners, but I have all the ingredients, so as far as that, I'm set.
The first cupcake recipe I'll be making is a simple vanilla cupcake with a vanilla buttercream frosting. There are so many cupcakes of varying flavors, but I figured going basic would be a good start. I'll be making them this week and I will post the photos.
Happy happy, joy joy!
